Keep markets fair? Markets have never been fair.

Reece Monday, November 21, 2011
Then you all won't mind if I disregard the Capitalist system and steal all of your art work. I'm entitled to it for free. Oh, and demand free access to your shows, events, and copyrights. After all, I am the 99%. I don't have your talent and frankly haven't worked very hard to be utilize the talent I have. Therefore I have no way of being successful. It's your fault for not allowing room for me. You owe me.

lost john Monday, November 21, 2011
uh, you sound less like the 99% and more like a manager of a mid-size label trying to implement major label techniques in a market that has ZERO use for you.

Yves Villeneuve Monday, November 21, 2011
I am going to defend Reece here.
In this Movement, there are more demands than there are protesters.

«you all won't mind if I disregard the Capitalist system»
You can't disregard capitalism, since you are still paying for an internet connection e.t.c.

You want my work for free? Go for it! Take it, use it in a commercial, have a ball with my music and your bad self.

The 1% support the 99%? So we're all good?

James M Monday, November 21, 2011
This movement is bad and all of these musicians should feel bad.
Also, you should bold the names of all of the bigger musicians (like Lou Reed) so they stand out against the throngs of random musicians here that nobody cares about.

Take back the money Power. Think of a new system of banking where there are lots of independent Banking Labels widening choice and competition not popular with the Majors but Capitaliam really is built on a pretty big lie. The Occupy Movement is right to raise so many questions so many improtant questions are supressed in the Mainstream Corporate Media and not asked in the mainstream ciorporate government so many musicians are employed in the deciet of pedaling the impossible consumerist dream this intitiative to me seems very worthwhile.

albert Tuesday, November 22, 2011
Capitalism is "built on a lie"? Why don't you try one of the other systems instead. If it wasn't for capitalism you wouldn't have a computer in your hands. Useful idiots..

There are probably some in the movement who are completely against corporations and capitalism, but don't confuse that as representative of the entire movement.
My own anger stems from the following. Corporations are fine; most of them are a-okay in my book, but I don't think it's asking too much from them to create jobs as profits are going up, and I don't think there's any problem with being upset at them when they fail to do this.

Journalism, a lost word. Tuesday, November 22, 2011
Just curious:
Did any blogger bothered to check which Wall Street vultures control the hedge funds that, among other activities, finance the various piracy websites, like for example Grooveshark?
